The Butler County Conservation Board is seeking a full-time Director to oversee all aspects of the conservation program in Butler County. The position includes administration of finances, staff, property and overseeing daily activities related to the conservation department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, outdoor recreation, wildlife, forestry, natural resources or other applicable field and at least 5 years of experience in business administration, natural resources or parks management.
OR
Two-year Degree in business administration, outdoor recreation, wildlife, forestry, natural resources or other applicable field and have at least 10 years of experience in the county conservation system.
Acquire and maintain valid state of Iowa Driver's License.
Acquire and maintain fire certification of NWCG S-130 and S-190. Certifications must be obtained within one year.
